When Roger Arnoldy joined the Gordee Agency in 1984 as a producer and part owner, the firm consisted of just two other staff members. The agency provided primarily life and health insurance to its clients. Roger came to the business with 10 years experience at the Jewell Insurance Agency as a commercial producer. He set out to build up the agency. In 1988 Roger became the sole owner of Marshfield Insurance Agency after building a respected book of property and casualty business.

Since then, Marshfield Insurance Agency has experienced progressive growth from three employees and four companies in 1984 to a staff of nineteen representing over 30 A-rated companies today. The largest independent agency in the Marshfield area, we provide a broad selection of personal, commercial, and specialized business insurance to clients throughout Wisconsin, with the main policy base in Central Wisconsin.

"In the first years, we were purely focused on survival," says Roger. "We simply worked harder and longer than most people. We made a lot of calls, and had a lot of doors shut in our face. But eventually, we developed a reputation that got us in more doors than were closed."

That reputation is SERVICE, something that every agency strives for and promises, but which the Marshfield Insurance Agency has ensured by limiting its geographic reach to within a short distance of Marshfield. "When a policyholder calls with a claim, someone from the agency is out there within five minutes," Roger says. "We couldn't do that if our accounts were 100 miles away."

The success of our agency is due to our "customer first focus". Our customers are Number One, and service is everything.

Roger also attributes the success of the agency to the excellent staff the firm has been able to attract and retain over time. "We have a very good group, and very little turnover," according to Roger.
